I feel that starting a blog is a bit like opening the fresh pages of a new journal... full of excitement, possibilities, and some trepidation at the thought that this could be another resolution that is broken within the first few weeks! And so, dear readers, if there is anyone out there, I cannot promise to be fabulous at this, but I will give it a newly resolved try.
At least I love this blog template... it reminds me of the library bookshelves at my Mum's house, that house so many books that made up my childhood.
I had intended to start with a gorgeous photo of the fresh strawberries that we picked today, and the delicious strawberry tart that the kids and I made with them... but then I realised that my super dooper new camera is at the shop, where I have been taking photos of delicious new fabrics instead. Ah well, I guess I will just have to do better next time!

when i hear you talk about strawberries (yum !) it makes me thing i have troubles thinking the southern hemisphere is in the sunny season when we will soon have to have logfires !
