A good friend of mine, whom I met through Playgroup, has just had a sweet little baby girl. With a busy 18 month old boy, and not knowing whether No. 2 was going to be a boy or girl, she hasn't had time to get much in the way of pink things in... so I thought I would crochet a pair of baby booties, so she has something pink for those cute little toes.
Well, this is my first ever bootie attempt... I fudged it a bit in turning the heel, but am quite pleased with the results. The only problem is that babies have 2 feet... so now I have to make another one!
